Since the holidays are the "official" start of engagement season, meaning more couples become engaged over the holidays and Valentine's Day than any other time of the year, I have been reflecting on the upcoming wedding season. I started Fete Perfection at the end of 2006 after successfully planning my daughter's wedding in Northern Minnesota. However her's was not the first wedding I had planned. I worked several years at one of the leading country clubs in the area, planning and coordinating weddings for its membership but also at two local hotels.
This experience was invaluable to me as a wedding consultant, because not only did I know how to sell beautiful banquet space, I could successfully execute their weddings as well. One thing I've learned over the past three years is that every couple I work with challenges me to create an experience unique to them and one that reflects their true personalities and devotion to each other.
I never want to use my influence by pushing my style or taste on my clients. While I may tend towards classic elegance or vintage flair, I am also drawn to edgy, playful, daring designs that make guests stop and say "wow, I never thought that would work!" Even though I say I love the eclectic look, my website says otherwise...so I'm changing things up.
Look for my new website coming soon that says "welcome" to brides of all styles and tastes. We're certain our new split personality will appeal to those left-brain thinkers and the right-brain brides looking for something fantastic. We have a creative team of planners ready to hand-pick the perfect vendors and bring together classic or unconventional design elements that say "wow" no matter which part of your brain you use most.
Thank you Bridal Canvas for the use of these inspiration boards
