My last wedding for the 2008 season was this weekend and what a glorious weekend it was! Who doesn't love close to 70 degrees in November?
During pre-wedding photos in Rice Park directly across from the James J Hill Library which was the site of Bree and Braden's ceremony and reception, we had an amusing situation arise. Two different bridal parties were having fun enjoying the scenery and warm weather when they spotted each other across the way. If the personalities had been different, what happened next would never have happened, but our wedding party started "trash talking" the other wedding party...all in jest of course. This got the "other" wedding party talking back.
As luck would have it, both wedding photographers are great friends and both will be joining me in Puerto Rico next year to shoot our PR wedding. The photographers met in the middle of the park to mediate the tension and pretty soon found themselves in the middle of a West Side Story rumble in the park. Each bride was flaunting their style and elegance while each bridesmaid was defending the honor of their bride. The guys were pretty much doing the same and the only shooting that occurred was by the photographers.
I can't wait to see the pictures...this was truly an experience that we will never forget.
